Summit School Application
We are excited about your interest in the Summit School. Due to the amount of student-centered learning that is involved in our curriculum, learning opportunities cannot be duplicated when a student is absent. Therefore, attendance is important. The rigor of Summit’s curriculum requires strong student engagement. Students need to be excited about learning and must be willing to work hard and complete their school work. Additionally, with the number of off-site activities at Summit, it is also important that student behavior is well managed for student and staff safety. For these reasons we would like the following items to complete the registration process for screening purposes.
Please make sure you complete the following components of the application process.
- Facilitate the submission of two recommendations filled out by staff members from student’s current school (this link is found in the application)
- Any current IEP, 504, or medical alert documentation
- Most recent report card for out of district students
- Current attendance records for out of district students
This is an application and filling it out does not guarantee enrollment. Students must continue to attend their current school or program unless they are accepted and enrolled at Summit School.
Summit staff may contact a student’s current school staff for input as we screen students for enrollment. Applicants will be emailed once their application is considered complete. Please be sure your email address is correct when you complete your application. A complete application includes the Google Summit Application Form, two (2) completed references, any IEP or 504, and report card and attendance records for out of district students.
*Incoming Kindergarten families must complete district registration paperwork by March 15th.
